A Peek Inside the Life Coach Starter Guide

A Peek Inside the Life Coach Starter Guide

Have you ever wanted to make a major change in your life but found yourself overcome with doubts and uncertainties? I know I have.

Almost all of us have experienced this at some point. The thought of change can be exhilarating, but it can also be daunting.

If you’re here, then you likely have a clear vision of becoming a life coach… but now you need to know where to start.

That’s why I created the free Life Coach Starter Guide.

Inside the guide is the same foundational work I used to build my career from the ground up. It sets you up with everything you need to start or enhance your coaching practice.

Today, I want to give you a taste of what’s inside the Life Coach Starter Guide and at the end of this post, you’ll have the chance to download the complete guide for free.

Are you ready?

First, Learn How to Overcome What’s Holding You Back

In the Life Coach Starter Guide, we start by exploring what I like to call shadow beliefs, or limiting beliefs.

Our brains are hard-wired to protect us and keep us feeling safe, but sometimes this can lead us to develop beliefs that prevent us from taking action.

We may not even be aware of these beliefs on a conscious level. They can be so ingrained that they feel like truths instead.

Until we’ve learned how to identify and then replace these shadow beliefs with more accurate, empowering ones, it’s difficult to commit to making any major life changes.

It’s even more difficult to build a successful coaching business when, deep down, you don’t feel worthy of that career path.

That’s why focusing on your own healing and transformation is so vital, and is the first key to success as a life coach.

Key Action 1: Your Personal Transformation Matters

Before you can become a successful life coach, you must start your own self-healing work.

Notice that I said “start” and not “finish”? That’s because the work of self-healing is a lifelong, ongoing process. It’s not something that we go through once and then move on from, but it is essential that you step into this process yourself before guiding others through it.

Think of the airplane safety demonstrations: you must put your oxygen mask on before you can help anyone else.

In the Life Coach Starter Guide, I provide you with information and writing exercises that will guide you toward beginning your own healing process so you can coach others from a place of understanding and authenticity.

Key Action 2: Feel Prepared with the Right Training

Another reason I created the Life Coach Starter Guide was that I noticed a pattern in my Levin Life Coach Academy students: many of them came to me after investing in other life coach training programs that under-delivered on their promise to set coaches up for success.

Remember that your role as a coach is to expertly guide your clients through the process of achieving their own transformation.

That’s why it’s so important to approach your life coaching business with proven methods and techniques.

The Life Coach Starter Guide provides you with the basic knowledge that you need to get started, plus some methods for maintaining your own boundaries and prioritizing your own health and well-being as a life coach.

Key Action 3: Coach from Your Experience

And now we’ve come full circle because this third and final key is intimately connected to the process of self-healing.

It’s hard to teach from your experiences when you haven’t learned the lessons from them yet, but once you have, you can share that hard-earned wisdom with your clients, and coach from a place of deep self-knowledge.

This will allow you to be vulnerable with your clients in a way that will let them feel safe, seen, and heard.

In the full starter guide, you’ll find an exercise that will guide you through the process of identifying your own story so you can better relate to your clients on a deeply personal level (and gain a better understanding of yourself in the process).

Your Next Step

This first step on a new journey can be riddled with uncertainty, limiting beliefs, and endless “what if” scenarios.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.
