Let’s dive in.

Nancy: Welcome back to another episode of the Nancy Levin show.

We continue exploring the meditations accompanying my latest book, Embrace Your Shadow to Find Your Light. This week, we are looking at the fourth alchemical stage of shadow work: authenticity.

In this meditation, I’m supporting you in reintegrating and merging with the parts of yourself you’ve abandoned. Because our authenticity is available to us when we embrace all these lost pieces of ourselves and let them all have airtime.

And so, in authenticity, we remember that we are of every quality. We are selfish and selfless, responsible and irresponsible, lazy and overachieving. So in authenticity, we begin to really take stock of all the opposing forces so that we no longer have to abandon parts of ourself and, with radical honesty, be an acceptance of all we are.

If you want more like this, I’ve got a few earlier episodes where I’m sharing the previous meditations to the alchemical steps. You can have all of them inside of Embrace Your Shadow to Find Your Light. So you can grab a copy of that book and journal your way through shadow work.

I’m glad you’re here. Settle in, give yourself some space and time, and I’ll be back with you again next week.

Welcome to the meditation for stage four: Authenticity – of Embrace Your Shadow to Find Your Light. I’m Nancy Levin, and it’s my honor to guide you. Begin by finding a comfortable seated position. Close your eyes and take a moment to settle into your body.

Feel the weight of your body supported by the chair or cushion beneath you.

Take a deep breath in, and as you exhale, let go of any tension or stress you may be holding onto.

Now, bring your attention to your heart. Notice the sensation of the breath as it enters and leaves your body. Feel the rise and fall, the expansion and contraction, as you make your way to the cave, your shadows live within.

Click your headlamp on to see the parts of yourself you have abandoned. Your shadow qualities, aspects, and characteristics, your desires, passions, and dreams,

These parts come into clear focus without judgment.

Take a moment to acknowledge these abandoned parts of yourself.

Imagine that you are extended. Sending an invitation to them. Come back home. Let them know that you are ready and willing to reconnect with them and integrate them fully into your being.

Visualize these abandoned parts returning to you one by one.

See them approaching you with open arms,  ready to be embraced.

Feel the warmth and love as you welcome them back into your life. As you continue to breathe deeply, feel the energy of these parts merging with you—the sense of wholeness and completeness that comes from reintegrating these parts of yourself.

Allow yourself to fully embody the presence of these parts within you. Take a breath. Take a moment to express gratitude for this reconnection,  the value that these parts bring to your life, the wisdom they hold and that by consciously calling in your abandoned parts, you have greater access to your intuition and your truth.

Slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings, wiggle your fingers and toes and gently open your eyes as you continue to nurture and reconnect with all aspects of yourself or to tap into the power you possess when you are hiding or denying any part of yourself.
