Episode 62: Negativity Bias, or Why Insults Affect Us More Than Compliments

In this episode...

Do you feel the sting of an insult more powerfully than you feel the joy of praise? Are you constantly scanning for what’s wrong, instead of what’s right?

Negativity bias affects our lives in so many sneaky ways—including our relationships, our motivation to complete a task, and our decision-making. Perhaps worst of all, it can even turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy that brings more negativity into our lives.

In today’s episode, I share some strategies we can all use to manage our minds and focus on the brighter side of life.
