Week 1: Vision

Welcome to our first week of The Art of Change Book Club! I’m so excited for the transformation you’re going to experience over the next 8 weeks and to see the changes you will implement in the new year. 2023 is the year of your personal reinvention!

To make the most out of our Book Club, be sure to get your copy of The Art of Change today—here’s a link.

Over the next 8 weeks, we’ll be dipping our toes into the key themes of my book. Each week I’ll share a specific dimension of reinvention and offer you a journal prompt or two. You can go even deeper by following along in The Art of Change, as the book itself provides all the life-changing prompts to guide your journey to reinvention.

And now onto the real reason you’re here: reinvention!

Let’s begin with a definition.

Reinvention: a return to the essence of who you are instead of endless versions of who you think you need to be.

So how do we reinvent ourselves? How do we return to our essence? The first step is to commit to your own evolution.

Without pause, without hesitation, we must dive headfirst into the vast ocean of change.

Are you ready to take a swim?

Week 1: Vision

This week focuses on the first dimension of reinvention: Vision. Your vision is the touchstone that determines the choices you make and the actions you take.

Many of us may feel disconnected from our vision because we have not plugged into our authentic desires; we have not yet given ourselves enough air to discover what we truly want.

This week, you’re going to give yourself full permission to want.

Begin by asking yourself this question:

  • What do I really want my life to look and feel like?

If you’re struggling, focus on a vision for one specific aspect of your life:

  • Heath
  • Creativity
  • Relationships
  • Career
  • Money
  • Adventure/Pleasure

Once you’ve journaled about what you really want your life to look and feel like,  ask yourself:

  • What is one thing I can eliminate from my life this week to bring me closer to my vision?
  • What is one thing I can integrate into my life this week that will bring me closer to my vision?

Ready for more? My book, The Art of Change, is filled with daily prompts to help you explore your vision. If you haven’t already, get the book today. Now is the time to craft a vision that allows you to step into the center stage of your own life!

See you next week.
