Episode 84: Live Coaching: Being Right, Underlying Commitments, and Respecting Your Own Boundaries

In this episode...

In this episode of Your Permission Prescription, I give live and unscripted coaching to 3 people.

Barbara feels she needs to be perceived as “right.” We discuss how this goes back to seeking external validation. Then, Lisa desires to make a career shift. We talk about her underlying commitments and how taking micro-actions toward her goal will alleviate her overwhelm. Lastly, Jan is transitioning from full-time to part-time work and worries about crossing the boundaries she sets, with work and family, in order to focus on self-care. Thank you to Barbara, Lisa, and Jan for sharing their stories with us.

Each of these short coaching sessions deals with important lessons on taking responsibility for yourself, learning to take micro-actions to stop feeling overwhelmed, and breaking free of old patterns, whether they’re set by society, ourselves, or the way we were raised.
