In this episode, I’m opening up about something deeply personal—my journey from perfectionism and hyper-responsibility to embracing fun and play as vital parts of life.
After a weekend with friends in Los Angeles, I realized just how much I had been resisting fun, believing it was frivolous, irresponsible and only for other people. This belief was deeply rooted in my childhood trauma with the loss of my older brother. However, that weekend in L.A. opened my eyes to a new perspective: fun isn’t a distraction, and it doesn’t come at a cost—it’s a source of energy, success, and joy.
Giving myself permission to enjoy life, I found a form of freedom and fulfillment I had long deprived myself of.
